The Poetic Assassin.

 An artistic arrogance arouses my senses. I feel more salient like verbs in sentences. I'm proud of the puns that portray my brilliance. With them I have formed an amiable alliance. Holding my head high, I'll brag about my works. Around my poems, excellence always lurks. With truth, I'll be cutting no single slack- Good writing will always have my back.  No one knows me more than your nudity. To this secret truth, I have no immunity. Your body call my nakedness by name. With lust, there is never an iota of shame. When we are alone, there aren't tamed talks. Sensual secrecy is the only thing that stalks. Your body is a signature all over mine. I am forever caught up in your cardiac confines. We keep veering into vanity like vapor. These bodies are more than neighbors,  lanre badmus January 2024
